About

  • Academic and professional background

    Prof. Erwin Selg holds a professorship for Digital Health Management and Business Informatics at SRH Fernhochschule - The Mobile University, where he heads the Digital Health Management M.A. program and the university certificate "Business Intelligence & Data Management". His teaching activities also include other specialist areas of business informatics.

    In addition, he advises healthcare companies on strategic and operational issues in the context of digital transformation.

    From 2015-2020, he was responsible for digitalization, project and process management in the management of the Thieme Group, before which he acted as Chief Technology & Information Officer of a multinational IT group for more than 10 years. He studied law and healthcare IT and lives with his family near Freiburg i. Breisgau.
