    • since 2021: Module Supervisor and teaching position in the part-time Master's program „e-Health and Communication“ at the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena  
    • 03/2021: Emeritus appointment by the President of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and retirement.
    • since 2019: Teaching position in the part-time Master's program "Safety Management" ("Sicherheitsmanagement") at the  Hochschule of Economics and Law (HWR) in Berlin.  
    • 04/2021 until 09/2021: Assignment to a senior professorship in communication studies with a focus on digitization and the public sphere by the President of Friedrich Schiller University Jena ( substitution of the professorship)

    • 2021: Appointment as a full member of the BfR Commission for Risk Research and Risk Perception at the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) in Berlin for the term of 2022 - 2025.
    • Since 2021: Research projects on health literacy and health communication in the COVID-19 pandemic.
    • Since 2016: Member of the Assembly of the Thuringian State Media Authority (TLM) in Erfurt (as representative of the Thuringian universities)
