Why eHealth and Communication?

The ongoing digitalization of our healthcare system allows us to provide health-related information, data and knowledge in multifaceted ways and to reach different groups as medical personnel, patients and their relatives as well as one’s own colleges or professionals from other disciplines. This kind of information transfer has become part of a new digital way of communication which enables us to act fast, effective and interprofessional in order to help patients. Experience from practice shows that in order to reach this goal certain competences are needed.

The program eHealth and Communication equips health care professionals with the necessary skills to navigate the digital health care system with confidence and to provide effective interprofessional communication of digital health information to benefit patients.

For studying with us you don’t need to change your job or city. In our online courses you’ll learn about:

  1. Analysis of eHealth technologies taking into account ethical, technological, economical and legal aspects.
  2. Adequate digital communication of (health related) information and expertise to different target audiences.
  3. Analysis of implementation conditions for eHealth application in different professional settings.
  4. Knowledge of the function and necessary involvement of important professions and adequate communication with them.
